You Must Work Out

Graham has such a cute little body.  Thanks to all of his running around and climbing, he doesn't have an ounce of baby fat on him, just little baby muscles.  A little athlete in the making?
Check my cute little bod next to my awesome car!

My muscle t-shirt shows of my tiny muscles!

Trying corn on the cob for the first time - gotta keep myself strong with yummy food!

To answer the statement made in the title of this post - yes, I do work out.  This is just an example...

May in Pictures

I have been a BAD blogger! Life has been quite busy, and I have gotten behind. So here's a bunch of pictures from the month of May (and a couple from the beginning of June). I missed posting for Mother's Day and Roger's birthday, so those are included!

18 Months!

A little over a week ago, Graham turned 18 months!  I can hardly believe our little man is half way through his second year of life!

Blogging Note: I realize that I am VERY behind on the blogging.  This past month has been life-changing for the Pretekin family.  The biggest thing that has come out of the last month is that I will not be returning to my job as a teacher in the fall.  I will be staying at home with Graham, focusing on soaking up all of the time I will get to spend with him.  We are also putting our house on the market in hopes that we can get a decent offer and move into something a little more spacious with the ultimate goal of growing our family.  Big changes are ahead!

Love

I love this little face.  It makes my day, every single day.

Zoom, Zoom to a New Room

Several weeks ago I decided that I wanted to update Graham's room.  When I was pregnant and putting his room together, I definitely made a big effort not to make it too babyish, and while the decor was still fine, I wanted to do something that I felt fit him and his personality.  So what did I choose to do?  A car-themed room!  Anyone who knows our little man, knows that he LOVES cars and trucks.  I decided I was going to repaint the room and add my own mural on the back wall.  I wanted the mural to look somewhat kiddish - not too professional or fancy looking, which ended up working perfectly with my painting skill level.  I also found an awesome rug and a new rocking chair (we never got a rocking chair, we just used an old office swivel chair, which just wasn't cutting it anymore) at IKEA and new sheets (on which the room was based) at Pottery Barn Kids.  I printed out and colored some pictures online to help complete the artwork on the wall.  The only thing missing is the red curtains (which my mom is shortening) and transportation-themed knobs that I ordered from Etsy.  I am pretty happy with how it all turned out.  Here are some pictures of them almost finished product:
